Actor James Woods sets Rolling Stone in Twitter target sights

Hollywood?s James Woods took to Twitter to condemn a recent Rolling Stone magazine edition that seemed to glorify terrorism by splashing a rock-star-type photograph of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its cover.

His weekend tweet included a mock-up of a Rolling Stone cover with the head shot of the 8-year-old boy, Martin Richard, who was killed in the April 15 blast.

Mr. Woods? accompanying Twitter text: ?Rolling Stone cover we will never see.?

On Monday, the tweet was still making social media waves, with nearly 700 retweets and more than 260 ?favorites? clicks.

Mr. Woods made the news just a week ago for another series of similarly blunt Twitter rants on President Obama?s opining on the George Zimmerman trial. After Mr. Obama likened himself to 17-year-old shooting victim Trayvon Martin, Mr. Woods tweeted: ?Just curious. Does the president of the United States have any advice for other teenage boys in America? Wounded warriors for example.?
