[Abstract]

Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of E2F3, in prostate cancer, and its relationship with the expression of pRb?MCM2. The expression of MCM2 was also compared with Ki67.Methods: The expression of E2F3?pRb?MCM2 and Ki67 in sample of 10 normal prostate tissues (NP),20 benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and 49 prostate cancer (PCa) were examined by EliVisionTM plus immunohistochemical stain.Results: The rate of positive for normal prostate,BPH and prostate cancer was 10%(1/10)?20%(4/20) and 63.27%(31/49) respectively.
