While the counting in Nevada took longer than expected, the winner of the state's Republican caucus was no surprise. Mitt Romney, as expected, handily beat his challengers in the first Western state to vote in the nomination process. Here's a look at the numbers behind the Nevada caucus:
50: Percent of the vote Romney received.
21.1: Percent of the vote Newt Gingrich received.
14: Counties (plus the independent city of Carson City) that Romney won.
2: Counties Ron Paul won. In Esmeralda County, Paul edged out Romney 33.9 percent to 32.2 percent, and in Ney County, Paul beat Romney 45.6 percent to 29.2 percent.
9.9: Percent of the vote received by Rick Santorum.
83.6:
Percent of the vote Romney received in Lincoln County in the southeastern part of the state.
138: Total votes Romney received in Lincoln County.
1: County Gingrich won. He got 37.9 percent of the vote in Mineral County, edging Romney, who picked up 35.9 percent.
60: Percent of economic voters, those who think the economy is the primary issue for this election, who voted for Romney, according to Associated Press entrance polling data.
88: Percent of the Mormon vote that, according to CNN entrance polling data, Romney won.
41: Percent of the vote, according to CNN, that Paul won among people 29 and younger. He beat all the other candidates among voters in this age group.
